At this time of year, many people are drawing up their Christmas shopping lists. This year, make every Christmas dollar count triple. Education in Action and Ten Thousand Villages are joining forces to offer you the opportunity to join Christmas cheer with a direct impact on the well-being of communities in Guatemala and on the bottom line of artisans in the Global South. *Spread the word to your friends, family and colleagues!*
Education in Action and Ten Thousand Villages are holding a joint Christmas gift purchasing evening from 5 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, December 1st 2011. Education in Action will send all the profit from the sales during this special evening to Guatemalan communities needing housing, education and emergency solidarity. This event is being held at both Ten Thousand Villages stores in Ottawa:
