Donation Drive Reminder (2023-11-10)

A gentle reminder about our donation drive. We are about one third the way to our target of $2,000.00 so there is more to do. If everyone can donate a mere $16.00, the price of one bag of Café Justicia, we will be able meet our objective, though any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated. CCDA Canada Tour and Donation Drive

The leader of the CCDA, Leocadio Juracan just completed a 2 week tour of Eastern Canada with stops in Charlottetown, Halifax, Fredericton, Quebec City, Montreal, Kanesatake, Ottawa, Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo and London.

In Ottawa, Leocadio met with Global Affairs Canada and a Member of Parliament to seek support for peaceful and complete transition of the newly elected Guatemalan government with the progressive president-elect, Bernardo Arévalo. Leocadio also met with some local roasters who use CCDA beans in their coffee. Leocadio also met with Education in Action board members to thank them for their continued support. To that end, Education in Action now needs your help as we launch our fall donation drive. We are using this donation drive in place of the November community dinner that we used to put on. Our goal for this drive is $2,000 in total donations. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made via

Reminder: the deadline for ordering Café Justicia on upcoming roasting cycle is 12:00 noon, Sunday, October 1, 2023. Please have your orders in on time to ensure that you get your coffee.

Our coffee priced is CAD$16.00 per Lbs. For orders outside of the Ottawa/Gatineau area, please include your shipping address with your order. Please note that you will be billed for the shipping cost outside the Ottawa/Gatineau area.

We still have limited stock of dark roast coffee (both whole bean and ground) in stock for those who need coffee now.

Reminder: EIA Annual General Meeting
