Education in Action hopes that you and your family are all doing well.

We have a brief update on our donation drive. In all, we raised a little over $3,600 for our CCDA campasinos in Guatemala. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Although our donation drive is officially over, additional donations will still be accepted.

At this time we would like to thank everyone for your support through out the year, whether it be by purchasing Café Justicia, volunteering at the New Art Festival, or via monetary donations. And we look forward to your continued support in 2023.

REMINDER: Webinar with CCDA's Leocadio Juracan

You are invited to a webinar with Leocadio Juracan the leader of the CCDA on Thursday, December 8, 2022. In the webinar, Leocadio will be raising awarenes of the criminalization and displacement of rural Mayan campesino communities in Guatemala. The webinar is expected to be about 1 hour long with Leocadio speaking in the first half hour followed by a questions and comments session with the audience.

Our partners BC CASA-Cafe Justicia and Breaking the Silence has arranged two Zoom sessions with simultaneous interpretation.

• For people in Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic provices, the webinar is at 6:30 EST, Thursday, December 8, 2022 and the Zoom link is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89480513775. Breaking the Silence will be hosting this session.

• For people in B.C. and the Prairies, the webinar is at 6:30 PST, Thursday, December 8, 2022 and the Zoom link is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89480513775. BC CASA-Cafe Justicia will be hosting this session.

Final 2022 Café Justicia Roasting

Reminder (2022-11-19)

Education in Action is still taking orders for our final 2022 roasting cycle. The deadline for ordering is Wednesday. November 30.

Education in Action is putting out a call for coffee orders for our final roasting cycle of the year. We are targetting to have this the last 2022 roasting in the first week of December.

However, we would like to have one additional roasting cycle efore that. In order for us to have 2 roasting cycles before the end of the year, we would need to have orders of at least 80 Lbs/bags by the end of October and another 80 Lbs/bags by the end of November.

So if you want fresh coffee, please send us your orders as soon as you can. Our ordering email is edu.in.action@gmail.com.

Café Justicia is available in the following formats:

• Whole bean dark roast
• Whole bean medium roast
• Ground dark roast
• Ground medium roast

Please indicate the quantity and format in your order.

The price for each 1 Lbs bag is CAD$14.00 plus shipping and packaging.
