2009 Community Dinner (updated 2009-12-04)
Many thanks to all the donors and participants who help to make this years community dinner a great success. We will let you know what portion of the 2010 cup you have contributed to once all the numbers are in. Without your generous support our project would not be possible.
And a big thank you to the cooks, Connie, Carlos, Lolita, Maricarmen and Charles for providing another excellent meal for us. The singers and dancers also deserve thanks for the entertainment that they provided throughout the evening.
We also want to thank Lesbia for travelling all the way from Guatemala to inform us on how your donations are being put to good use and on how much harder we need to work to keep the movement going.
Finally, thanks to the many Education in Action volunteers and auction item donors who help make this event possible. Special thank you to the organizers, Janet, Anne, Helene, Gabriel, Dean, Tracey, Christine, Larry, Colette and above all Roberto.
